The two hour long webinar will be broadcasted through the ZOOM program and will have representation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Disabled People International (DPI), European Disability Forum (EDF) and DRW.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program includes the work, results and publications from Disabled Refugees Welcome. During the last three years experiences shared by disabled migrants on how living in Sweden has worked for them is a basis for the presentation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DPI &#8211; Disabled People International &#8211; Giampiero Griffo will be speaking about:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conditions of migrants and persons with disabilities to be accepted in\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">society<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The international debate on persons with disabilities in emergency \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">situation\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Condition of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees with disabilities\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Italy \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and the European Union<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will talk about their work in relationship to the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UNCRPD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Disability Forum (EDF) will present their work within the area.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Save the date!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">For more information write to:<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008080;\">jamie.bolling@independentliving.org<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disabled Refugees Welcome project is celebrating the European Day of Independent Living and invites you to their webinar on May 5th.
